Now, if you try to force yourself to do something you don't enjoy, it is more likely that you may not continue to do it. Find something fun that you can fit into your life.

The secret to integrating ongoing exercise is simple - find activities you enjoy doing.



Cycle

I am in training. Not for a particular race, marathon, fundraiser or other sporting event. I am in training for the next potential health issue I might have.
I know that the more physically active I am, the more my body will be better equipped to heal the next time it needs to.

The more active I am, the more resistant I am to many possible health issues. The more I do physically every day makes my body stronger and healthier ... exercise helps my body recover faster when sick.
When I ride my bike, it is often a win - win situation. I can go where I want to go, without polluting the environment or spending any money for gas.
Cycling is a wonderful way to get exercise, fresh air and sunshine. I love spending time riding around on my bike.



Team Sports

Want to get active and expand your social circles? Try getting involved in team sports. Hockey, volleyball, baseball, soccer, basketball ... Don't be shy! You'd be surprised at how welcoming and friendly these group activities can be.





Walking

Simply walking can be a great way to start exercising.

Park the car a little farther away ... take the stairs ... go for a stroll around the neighbourhood ...

It's free, easy, and can be a wonderful way to start your journey to a healthier you.





Dance!

If you love music, this is for you!

Dancing can be an excellent way to burn calories.

Whether at a nightclub, or the privacy of your bedroom, dancing can be a fun way to help you keep fit.
